Vintage linen embroidered collar - oh, so feminine

This absolutely gorgeous collar is made of a high quality, light weight linen and embellished with beautiful bride's baskets and florals. Although it is machine embroidered, most will believe it was done by an expert hand. I am a bit baffled about the age of this. Although certainly vintage, I believe it was made to look older than it actually is and would guess it actually dates to around 1930. It is BRIGHT white with light crème embroidery. What appears to be lace around the edge is actually embroidery and finished with a perfect scallop.

It measures 16” around the neck and has a 7” drop in front. The back measures 5.75” at its longest point. The condition is strong and absolutely perfect with no stains, yellowing, holes or weak spots.  This one is raring to go and certainly strong enough to wear if you so wish.
Carefully hand cleaned, air dried and pressed with light starch.
