This pretty set came from an estate sale and was hand crocheted with what looks to be about a #10 cotton thread. She used a filet pattern of birds and bows. It is quite a large set and was no doubt intended for a sofa. The larger center piece measures 25.25” x 16” and the two smaller pieces measure 16” x 9.5”. All pieces are strong and firm and in perfect condition.
They set has been carefully hand cleaned, blocked and pressed with light starch. It is bright white and has no stains or weak or broken threads. I have several other pieces that match or compliment these which came from the same estate sale and will be listed very soon so be sure and take a peek at my other listings as well.
