50” Hand Crocheted Pineapple Tablecloth in a Compass Pattern

When I looked this one over to buy it, I laid it out on the floor and thought it was really neat.  However, it wasn’t until I had it all cleaned up and threw it over a 20” side table that I saw what a gem it really was.  Hand crocheted in a pineapple and net pattern, it is arranged so it looks like a compass with 4 points radiating past the edge.  Made with a small cotton thread and measuring 50” at its widest point, it isn’t quite round and yet it isn’t really square either.  Shall we call it sqround?  It is in strong condition with not a mark or flaw to be found.  You like the pictures?  You’ll absolutely love it in person!

Hand laundered, air dried.  Excellent condition.  c. 1940-60’s
