This beautiful linen damask towel came to me with the tag still affixed to the hem. It reads “Made in Silesia Czechoslovakia” which would date this from anywhere between 1919 to 1938. There are sprigs of morning glories in each corner woven on lattice. It measures 22” x 14” and is made of half bleached flax. The last picture is best for color.
It has been carefully hand cleaned, pressed and lightly starched. The tag was removed for cleaning but will be included. Sew lace to the hem, add a monogram in the center or use it just as it is. Have you ever actually used this particular kind of towel?? You’ll be stunned at how rich they feel and how amazingly absorbent they are!
Although this listing is for one towel, I actually have 5 of these. Buy one or buy them all.
