Vintage Linen Pullman Railroad Car Towel

These towels are always a hit with the railroad buffs.  Pullman cars were built and operated by the Pullman Company and used primarily for sleeping or as lounges for train travel.  My husband and I once spent a lazy after noon chugging through the hills and valleys of eastern Nebraska enjoying the sights and dining on a meal of prime rib.  It is a treasured memory for both of us.  Anyway, enough on that and back to the towel.  It measures 24” x 16.5”, is snow white and in immaculate condition.  Although generally used for display, they are as tough as nails and wear like iron.  This has no label but I’ve seen a few in the past that did which said either or Cannon or Dundee.  Great for display OR use!  Two available.  Each sold seperately.

Hand cleaned, air dried and pressed.  Excellent condition    c. 1930-60’s
