Hand Crocheted Baby Bib with Shell Edge

This little cutie is a bit different from what you regularly find in other bibs of this era.  It’s smaller (probably made for a newborn) and it has a dainty scalloped edge.  It is made to have a ribbon woven in around the edge and then tie in back.  The bib itself measures 4” from neck front to hem and is about 7” at its widest point.  Add another 4” for the crocheted pieces that go around the neck.  Bright white and perfect.

Hand laundered.  Air dried.  Excellent condition.  c. 1950’s
