These eight matching Italian placemats are probably the finest of this type I’ve ever sold. Made of a light crème colored linen, they are hand embroidered in a fancy art deco pattern so typical of many of the fine Linens Italy exported all over the world. Be sure to scroll down through the pictures to see the fabulous handiwork in these. The hems are hand rolled and each measures 17” x 10.5”. Although I’m pretty sure these have been used, they were very well cared for and are all in perfect condition. The pictures don't even begin to do them justice.
They have been hand cleaned, air dried and pressed with light starch. There are no stains, yellowing, holes, broken threads or weak spots. They display beautifully and will look fabulous on your table at your next formal gathering.
