A simply gorgeous hand crocheted apron done in a pineapple pattern and made to fall into gathers. It is the first crocheted apron I’ve seen that was made in two pieces (the waistband and the bib) and then sewn together. It is 16” long. The ladiess I bought it from knew little about it other than it came from their aunt Marie and was quite old. Because of the pattern, the style and as yellowed at it was, I’m going to date it back to the late 20’s’s up through the early 40’s. It cleaned up beautifully and is sure to become one of your most treasured pieces.
