A wonderful little lipstick towel with a hand embroidered black cat and spooky writing. Lipstick towels were popular from the 40’s through the 60’s and were meant to blot a woman's lipstick when she stepped into the powder room. Many times they are mistakenly labeled as hankies. This one is a made from fine linen and deep red in color. It measures 14” 8.5” and has never been used. Fun for display in the powder room and a wonderful size to carry in your tote!
