When I saw these at an estate auction I thought they were fairly new but they were so pretty I bought them anyway. Then when I got them home I looked at the price tags… 39 cents apiece! I’m thinking that dates them to sometime in the 40’s. 13 in total and each measuring 17.5” x 17”, they are made from a sturdy metis linen and woven in a delicate lilac pattern. They cleaned up beautifully and are ready for the formalist of dinner parties… or placed on a tray for your hubby when you surprise him with breakfast in bed… or for a romantic picnic on the beach…
Hand laundered, air dried and pressed. Excellent condition c. 1940’s
