A pair of lace pieces which once graced the edges of a table runner. Each depicts a row of hand crocheted mice made in a filet technique! I snagged these at a tag sale, still attached to the runner which had been used to wipe up paint. Fortunately the lace was paint free and still perfect! Each measures 16” x 2.25” and are made with a tiny thread. I’m going to call these cotton but they are so incredibly strong and crisp that they may actually be linen or a cotton / linen blend. For the baby’s room alone I can think of at least a kazillion ways to use this. Bright white with no breaks. Sold as a pair.
Hand cleaned, air dried and pressed. Excellent condition. C. 1890-1920
