A delightful vintage pot scrubber, hand crocheted with white and deep cherry red cotton colored threads. You rarely see these anymore. Though plenty were made, they were used until they literally fell apart and were thrown away. I remember seeing them as a little girl but never any since then – and TWO, no less! In the third picture I’ve opened one up so you can see how it was made…virtually, it’s a verrrrrryyy ruffled doilie. They are fabulous for washing dishes – more so than their nylon counterparts because the cotton holds water and nylon doesn’t. They’ve yellowed just a bit but as you wash your dishes it easily fade to white. They measure about 4” across. Perfect for the vintage kitchen. 2 available. Sold separately.
