This beautiful, Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL pink linen tablecloth and 12 matching napkins comes from the estate of Clara Wertz who had EIGHT cedar trunks to hold all of her prized possessions. Two were filled with linens (many never used) and the rest held mementoes and dolls which she’d collected from all over the world.
This set is made of Irish linen and is woven in the Chrysanthemum pattern ~ a favorite of the Irish people for centuries. The tablecloth measures 101” x 65.5” and each of the twelve napkins measures 20.25”. All are machine hemmed. Although it had never been used and still had the original factory polish, it had yellowed somewhat so it has been cleaned and repressed with light starch. Amazingly, even after soaking for 24 hours and changing the water three times it stills smells faintly of cedar. The tags I removed before cleaning are pictured and will be included with the linens. There are NO stains, NO discoloring and NO flaws of any kind.
I did some research to see what this set sells for new and was absolutely stunned. I only run across these once in a blue moon (or should I say PINK moon?) and am delighted to be able to offer it to you for less than half the price!
I thank you for looking and, as always, if you have any questions or need additional pictures, just ask! I’ll be more than happy to oblige.
