I have no doubt this gorgeous towel was designed by some devout Irishman with excellent taste. Made from a heavy linen damask, it is fashioned with an elegant oval in the center and peppered with clovers of every kind. A cartouche in the bottom center adds more elegance and you can even embroider your initial in the center if you get a hankerin' and have a steady hand! It measures 39.5" x 20". Bright white, barely used and in perfect condition.
Hand laundered, air dried and pressed. Excellent condition. c. 1910
