A wonderful cotton eyelet runner made on a schiffli lace machine during the 50's or 60's and probably hails from Germany or Switzerland. It measures 33.5" x 12.75". The fabric is almost sheer which sets off the embroidery perfectly. It is made from an almost sheer fabric and although it has 2 tiny pinholes is still amazingly strong. Foofy, frilly and fabulous!
Freshly hand laundered, air dried and pressed. Excellent condition as described c. 1950-60.
