In the past I'd always thought of this pattern as peacocks but the kindly lady that sold them too me refered to them chickens. Hmmmmmm... Well, whether they're peacocks or chickens they're definitely neat. They are hand crocheted in a bold, white cotton thread. The center portion measures 12" x 17" and each side piece measures 14" x 9". Although used, they are still in very good condition with oodles of life left in them.
