These cuties can be used hotpads (as intended) but are more often displayed in a prominent place in the kitchen. This pattern was probably by far the most popular thoughout the mid part of the century. These were made with bold pink and white cotton threads, then carefully stored away in a cedar chest. They measure about 6.5" square and look as good as the day they were made. Fabulous as hostess gifts or stocking stuffers.
