A gorgeous linen tablecloth with 2 rows of frilly hand crocheted lace. If you look closely, you’ll see that the harlequin pattern in the lace was actually a type of cording with loops used as a ground to work off of. This cording was popular in the late 1800’s and had all but disappeared by 1910. One tiny pinhole is the only flaw. Frothy, frilly and sooo Victorian. A good piece for study and sturdy enough for display… everyday!!! 30" including the 7"s of lace.
c.1900-20 Freshly laundered and pressed. Excellent condition
