Two long lengths of Gorgeous English Leavers lace made in a spider web pattern of sorts - obviously inspired by the beautiful types of drawnwork done during that era. Fine and delicate but not the least bit fragile. Obviously bought and tucked away for some special project and then never used… don’t you just love it when that happens??? The insertion lace is 7/8” wide and the edging is ¾”. Both measure just under 2 yards (110”) – plenty for most any craft project you might have! Imagine this on a christening gown… Sigh... Heavenly! Both cleaned up beautifully, as most Leavers laces do. Sold as a set so You get both!!
c. 1900 – 1920’s Freshly laundered and pressed. Excellent, unused condition
