Whimsical “Vera” Tablecloth in a Bold Peach Design

This colorful tablecloth was designed by Vera Neumann. Books have been written about her (I suggest you google her) but in a nutshell, she was a graphic designer of both clothing and textiles for the home from 1947 through the 80’s. As her signature trademark changed over the years, her pieces are quite easy to date. On this tablecloth her signature and the lady bug are relatively the same size so we know it had to have made in the early 60’s. I photographed this on my dining room table under terrible lighting with natural light streaming in the window so the colors are all over the place but the actual color is a fun, bold corally-pink. It measures 68” x 52” and is in sound, wonderful condition. Although used, it has no flaws and will last for many years to come.

Hand washed, air dried and pressed.   Excellent condition. c. early 60’s
