Incredibly, this lace was finished and never used. I think before I’d put the time in it only to throw it in the cedar chest and leave it there for decades, I’d decorate the garage with it. I bought it from an elderly lady who was clearing out most of her things to move. She told me it was made by her mother – making it at least 60 years old. It was hand crocheted with a light ecru thread in a mum pattern and measures 5” wide. There is 88” of it (over 7 feet!). It is in like new condition. Laundered and pressed. 100% usable.
