This absolutely stunning embroidered linen tablecloth is embellished with bobbin lace made into old world faces. Much too fine a lace to be Cluny, I see elements of several types of bobbin laces (assuredly Milanese and Flemish) made in sections and hand stitched together to make a whole. It measures 52” x 52” and is in absolutely pristine condition. It had a tiny hole left by a rust spot which I repaired by hand and is pictured. It has been laundered and pressed and will arrive at your door ready for immediate display. Oh, can't you just see it?
As I sit here a young male cardinal is singing his heart out on my window ledge (no doubt looking for girls) and before me is this absolutely marvelous creation of linen and lace. It’s moments like this that I know for certain there is a God. Sigh…. What a life this is.
