This intricate little lace is a petite 5/8” wide and perfect for baby clothes or the antique costumer. Made by Barman Mills during the early part of the century. Although I run across this type of lace quite often, I have never seen it so tiny before. It measures a whopping 29.41 feet (just under 10 yards) and is in perfect condition.
This lace came from a lady who inherited it from her grandmother’s estate. I bought it unused and still rolled up on the original card. She told me her grandparents operated a Mercantile store and this was probably old stock from when the store sold in the early 30’s. It cleaned up beautifully and will come to you in the same condition you would have purchased it off the shelf from a dry goods store! I bought MANY more laces from this same lady, many of which are newly listed this week.
Hand cleaned, air dried and pressed. c. 1920-30 excellent, unused condition
